Mahesh Babu was sent a legal notice by the Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission in Telangana over his endorsement of Sai Surya Developers, a real estate firm linked to a scam.
A Hyderabad-based doctor filed a complaint alleging she was cheated out of Rs 34.8 lakh after buying plots from Sai Surya Developers, which allegedly did not exist.
As of now, neither Mahesh Babu nor his team has commented on the legal notice or the allegations against him.
