Real Estate Maharashtra:The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) Pune has successfully conducted a computerized lottery for 4,850 flats, marking a significant milestone in providing affordable housing to citizens. The event, held on July 18, 2024, was presided over by Minister of Housing of Maharashtra, Atul Save, via video conferencing.

In attendance were Pune District Collector, Dr. Suhas Diwase, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MHADA, Anil Wankhede (via video conferencing), and members of the monitoring committee appointed by MHADA Pune, including Pramod Yadav, Deepak Nalawade, and Dhananjay Kulkarni. Chief Officer of MHADA Pune, Ashok Patil, was also present at the program held in the auditorium of Pune Zilla Parishad.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Save emphasized the importance of transparency in the MHADA lottery process, stating, 'The MHADA lottery is entirely computer-based and free from human intervention, ensuring transparency throughout the process.' He also highlighted the substantial demand for affordable housing in the state, evident from the enthusiastic response from citizens to MHADA's computerized draw.

To cater to this demand, Minister Save announced that MHADA Pune will soon conduct another lottery for those who were not selected in this draw. This move is expected to bring hope to many who are seeking affordable housing options in the region.
