Middle East Crisis Disrupts Mumbai and Delhi International Flights

Mumbai International Airport Ltd had earlier issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) restricting the acceptance of diversion flights from 9 p.m. on Saturday until 8 a.m. Sunday. This decision was prompted by limited parking space, which forced several flights to return to their origin or divert to nearby airports.

The Civil Aviation Ministry estimated that domestic carriers would cancel 444 international flights on Sunday due to the closure of Gulf airspaces. Passengers traveling internationally from Mumbai and Delhi were advised to check flight schedules before heading to the airports to avoid unnecessary travel and inconvenience.

Airlines and airport authorities are monitoring the situation closely and coordinating to manage passenger traffic, though disruptions are expected to continue until the airspace situation stabilizes.
