By GeoSquare News Desk · Published 2026-11-04

The Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) has given the green signal to a 500-acre logistics and warehousing zone within MIHAN Phase 2. This approval is set to transform the Wardha Road corridor, which is already emerging as a key industrial and residential belt in the city.

Price Surge on Wardha Road

Following the nod, residential and commercial land prices along Wardha Road have jumped by 12% in a short span. The upcoming cargo terminal is expected to boost connectivity and employment, making the area a magnet for both end-users and investors.

Developer Activity and RERA Registrations

Developers are capitalising on the momentum by launching new plotted layouts within a 5 km radius of the proposed cargo terminal. RERA registrations in the region have seen an 18% quarter-on-quarter increase, indicating strong formal demand and transparency in the market.

Investment Outlook

For property buyers and investors in Maharashtra, this development signals a promising opportunity. The logistics hub is likely to drive sustained demand for housing and commercial spaces, making Wardha Road a corridor to watch in the coming years.
