Mumbai Luxury Housing: 17 Daily Deals Above ₹5 Cr in H1 FY27

By GeoSquare News Desk · Published 2026-10-27

Mumbai’s luxury housing market continued its strong run in the first half of FY27, with 3,145 registrations of properties priced at ₹5 crore and above. These transactions were collectively valued at ₹32,623 crore between April and September 2026, according to a market report.

17 luxury deals a day

The data translates to nearly 17 high-value registrations every day across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The sustained demand signals confidence among high-net-worth buyers, despite rising property prices and higher borrowing costs.

What is driving demand?

Industry experts attribute the momentum to a preference for larger homes, limited ready inventory in prime locations, and a growing number of ultra-luxury project launches. Areas such as South Mumbai, Bandra, and Worli continue to attract significant buyer interest.

With the festive season approaching, developers are expected to launch more premium projects in the coming quarters. The luxury segment is likely to remain a key growth driver for the Mumbai real estate market.
