Former Bombay High Court judge Shahrukh Kathawala reported the incident to the Mumbai Police, State Human Rights Commission, and the State Child Rights Commission.
The incident took place at Nirlon Parsi Panchayat Complex in Goregaon (East), Mumbai.
The police have taken note of the incident and have visited the family, according to sources. Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar has asked the DCP concerned to take necessary action.
