ODFED stands for the Odisha Developers’ Federation, a new body formed by leading real estate developers in Odisha to promote ethical practices and transparency in the real estate sector.
ODFED was formed due to the central CREDAI's lack of action against unethical operators and its preference for retaining only RERA-registered builders. The developers withdrew from CREDAI to form a new, more ethical body.
The core values of ODFED include ethical practice, commitment to better service for home buyers, and integrity. These values are reflected in the Federation’s official logo and mission.
The key members of ODFED's governing body include Pradipta Kumar Biswasroy (President), Umesh Patnaik (Secretary), Suryakanta Nanda (Vice President), Parthajeet Patnaik (Vice President), Jitendra Kumar Patra (Joint Secretary), Satyajyoti Mohanty (Joint Secretary), and Siddharth Mohapatra (Treasurer).
ODFED plans to host regular industry events, knowledge sessions, and public-private engagements to ensure inclusive and progressive growth in the real estate sector in Odisha.
