MahaRERA has also received more than 25,000 complaints against real estate projects, with 17,000 complaints closed and hearings for around 8,000 complaints ongoing. The authority has also taken stringent actions against errant real estate agents, suspending the registration of over 20,000 agents in Maharashtra.
