The company's revenue from operations surged 14% to ₹14,922 crore compared to ₹13,127 crore on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. Bajaj Auto noted that strong performance across its business segments more than offset the impact of rare earth magnet supply constraints, which affected the electric vehicle segment.
Trent: The Tata Group-owned retail chain operator reported a net profit of ₹373 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year, a 11% increase from ₹335 crore in the same period last year. Trent's revenue from operations in the July-September period advanced 16% to ₹4,818 crore from ₹4,157 crore a year earlier. The company's EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) rose 27% to ₹817 crore from ₹646 crore in the year-ago period. Its EBITDA margin expanded by 140 basis points to 17%.
InterGlobe Aviation: The country's largest airline, IndiGo, aims to implement evidence-based training programs for its pilots as part of its continuing efforts to enhance their competencies, including improved situational awareness.
