The main purpose of the Noida Authority meeting on October 3 is to review and discuss over 20 proposals, including a unified policy for allotments, payment schedules, and builder compliance, as well as the status of real estate project deliveries.
The unified policy aims to integrate land reforms across Noida, Greater Noida, and YEIDA, ensuring uniformity in allotment and development processes. It includes standardising payment timelines, simplifying approval procedures, and resolving inconsistencies across various schemes.
The board will seek guidance on action against defaulting builders to ensure timely project completion and protect homebuyers’ interests. This includes reviewing records of funds deposited under the Amitabh Kant committee and registries of flat buyers.
The proposed 300 tons per day integrated waste management plant in Noida will generate electricity, produce fertilizer from organic waste, and supply treated water, addressing environmental and municipal challenges.
The board will also discuss the approval of a new waste management plant, fixing water meter charges, and budgetary allocations for the upcoming Jewar International Airport, alongside approvals for ongoing urban development works.
