Oberoi Realty Declares ₹2 Per Share Interim Dividend; Check Record Date

By GeoSquare News Desk · Published 2026-10-17

Mumbai-headquartered real estate developer Oberoi Realty has announced a cash reward for its shareholders, declaring a second interim dividend of ₹2 per share for the current financial year.

What shareholders need to know

An interim dividend is paid out before a company closes its annual accounts, and it is credited directly to the bank accounts registered with the shareholding pattern. The payout applies to equity shares held by investors on the record date fixed by the board.

Record date eligibility

Investors who wish to receive the ₹2 per share distribution must be listed in the company's register of members on the record date. Those buying shares after that cut-off will not be eligible, as settlement and name inclusion take a working day or two.

Why it matters for Maharashtra investors

Oberoi Realty is one of the prominent listed residential and commercial developers in the Mumbai metropolitan region, with a portfolio of premium towers, retail malls and office assets across the western suburbs. Dividend announcements are closely watched by retail shareholders as a signal of the developer's cash flow strength from ongoing project deliveries.

Wider market context

Interim dividends by listed developers have become more common as cash flows from completed inventory and annuity office leasing improve. For long-term shareholders, such payouts add to the total return alongside the underlying value of the property assets held by the company.
