The Odisha Developers’ Federation (ODFED) is a new industry body launched in Bhubaneswar to promote sustainable growth, transparency, and best practices in the state’s real estate sector.
ODFED’s key objectives include promoting sustainable practices, working closely with regulatory authorities, enhancing transparency in project execution, and protecting homebuyers’ interests.
ODFED will collaborate with ORERA to achieve smoother project approvals, quicker grievance redressal, and higher accountability in transactions, which will help reduce disputes and improve buyer confidence.
ODFED plans to organize regular industry events, knowledge-sharing sessions, and public-private dialogues to create a continuous platform for learning, policy feedback, and cooperative action.
ODFED aims to promote sustainable urban development by encouraging energy-efficient construction practices, responsible land use, and environmentally conscious planning, ensuring that Odisha’s cities can accommodate growth while maintaining ecological balance.
