The main reason is a major controversy involving the revocation of a project’s registration due to allegations that it used railway land as its approach road without proper permissions, jeopardizing home buyers' investments.
The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Cuttack Development Authority (CDA), and Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) are required to provide these details.
The authorities are required to provide the building plan approval, the name of the planning officer, land schedule, access road specifications, and any no objection certificate (NOC) obtained for the approach road.
Appropriate action will be taken against projects that have not followed the due procedure in obtaining the necessary no objection certificates (NOCs).
ORERA plays a crucial role in regulating real estate projects. In April, it revoked the registration certificate of the real estate project ‘HN Courtyard’ in Gadakana due to issues with the approach road being on railway land.
