Omaxe Reports Significant Loss Despite Income Surge in Q4 FY24
Real Estate:The real estate sector in India has been experiencing a tumultuous time, and Omaxe Ltd, one of the leading real estate developers in North India, is no exception. In its latest quarterly results, the company has reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 145.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2024. This is despite a significant rise in total income, which rose 82% to Rs 542.32 crore in the fourth quarter of last fiscal from Rs 298.17 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

According to a regulatory filing, Omaxe's total income more than doubled to Rs 1,634.88 crore in the last fiscal from Rs 798.01 crore in 2022-23 fiscal. However, the company's net loss widened to Rs 402.60 crore in 2023-24 from Rs 347.91 crore in the preceding year.

Despite the loss, Omaxe remains one of the leading real estate developers in North India, with a strong presence in the region. The company's significant investment in its projects and expansion plans are expected to yield returns in the coming years.
