Paytm has partnered with Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) and Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to launch Mobile QR Ticketing for metro commuters across Pune and Nagpur. This new feature aims to make travel seamless for daily commuters, reducing wait times and queues at stations.

With this integration, passengers can now book metro tickets directly on the Paytm app through the ONDC integration. They will receive a QR code for entry, eliminating the need for physical tokens. The initiative is expected to benefit over 3 lakh daily commuters across Pune and Nagpur, enhancing daily commuter engagement and improving operational efficiency.

A Paytm spokesperson commented, “This partnership is a meaningful step toward simplifying everyday travel for metro commuters in Pune and Nagpur. With Mobile QR Ticketing, users can access their tickets instantly on the Paytm app, making the entire journey, from booking to entry, faster and more convenient.
