The Udyog Sarathi initiative is an industrial facilitation cell launched by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to address industry grievances and improve coordination between the civic body and industrial units.
The Udyog Sarathi initiative was launched in March 2023.
The main issues raised by industrial associations include poor roads, incomplete drainage networks, inadequate streetlights, and insufficient CCTV cameras in the MIDC areas.
There are over 5,000 industrial units in the Pimpri Chinchwad limits.
