Real Estate News:PNB Housing Finance is undergoing a strategic leadership transition, with the appointment of Jatul Anand and Valli Sekar to lead major business verticals. Meanwhile, CEO Girish Kousgi has resigned, with his departure set for October 28, 2025.

Effective August 2, 2025, Jatul Anand, currently a Function Head, has been designated as Executive Director (non-board member). He will take over responsibility for the Prime and Emerging Business segment, encompassing Sales, Credit, Product, and Collections.

Alongside him, Valli Sekar has been named Chief Business Officer – Affordable Business. She will lead the Affordable Business vertical, covering the same core operational areas.

In a separate development, Managing Director and CEO Girish Kousgi has stepped down. He submitted his resignation to the board on July 30, which was accepted during a meeting held on July 31. His departure will be effective from October 28, 2025, after the close of business hours. Kousgi will also relinquish his positions on the boards of PHFL Home Loans and Services Ltd. and PEHEL Foundation, both subsidiaries of PNB Housing Finance.

The board acknowledged Kousgi’s transformative leadership, crediting him with steering the organisation through a period of significant change. Ashok Chandra, MD and CEO of Punjab National Bank, addressed investor concerns over the recent resignation of Girish Kousgi from PNB Housing Finance. He clarified that the decision was entirely personal and not driven by internal challenges or business-related issues.

Chandra emphasised that Kousgi’s departure wasn’t the result of any external pressure or warning signals, underscoring the transparency behind the transition.
