Bollywood actor Preity Zinta has secured a luxurious apartment in Mumbai's upscale Pali Hill locality for a two-year lease, with a starting monthly rent of ₹6 lakh. According to documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the apartment is located in the Art Veda building, spanning 1,500 sq. ft. and including a 100 sq. ft. parking space.

The leave-and-license agreement, which came into effect on May 27, 2026, outlines the terms of the lease. The property has been leased from MS Union Land and Building Society Ltd. As per the agreement, the monthly licence fee is ₹6 lakh for the first 12 months, after which it increases to ₹6.5 lakh per month for the remaining 12 months. Additionally, the transaction includes a security deposit of ₹27 lakh.

Preity Zinta and the landlord were not available for comment. This lease agreement is another significant real estate move by the actress, who has been active in the Mumbai property market.

Earlier this year, Preity Zinta sold an apartment in Mumbai’s Pali Hill area of Bandra for ₹18.50 crore, according to property registration documents. The apartment was allotted to Zinta in April 2025 following the redevelopment of her old building. This marked Zinta's second apartment sale in the past four months. In November 2025, documents show she sold a 1,474 sq ft apartment on the 11th floor of the Rustomjee Parishram building for over ₹14 crore.

The transaction registered on March 2, 2026, involved the sale of another 1,770 sq ft apartment on the same floor of the building. Priya Nagar and Rajeev Nagar, US citizens of Indian origin, purchased the property. The deal included a stamp duty payment of ₹1.11 crore and a registration fee of ₹30,000.

Under a redevelopment agreement between the society and the developer (Keystone Realtors/Rustomjee), the flat was officially allotted to her as Permanent Alternate Accommodation. This arrangement was formalised in an agreement executed on October 23, 2023, as stated by CRE Matrix.

Mumbai's old building redevelopment market has been growing steadily, with a 16% increase in 2025, and the momentum continues into 2026. Preity Zinta's real estate transactions highlight the ongoing trend of redevelopment and the high demand for prime properties in the city.
