Preity Zinta Sells Bandra Apartment for ₹14.08 Crore, Eyes Larger Real Estate Investment
Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has become a notable figure in the Mumbai property market after selling her Bandra apartment for ₹14.08 crore. The 11th-floor flat in Parishram, developed by Rustomjee, spans 1,474 sq ft. According to documents accessed by CRE Matrix, Zinta purchased this apartment in October 2023 for ₹17.01 crore from Keystone Realtors, a subsidiary of the Rustomjee Group.
It is reported that Preity Zinta plans to reinvest in a new luxury home in Bandra, estimated to be worth around ₹100 crore. Sources close to her indicate that she is highly interested in acquiring properties in prime locations of Mumbai.
The flat Zinta sold also included two parking lots. The buyer, Vishal Kalyan Mirchanandi, registered the deal on November 21, 2025, paying a stamp duty of ₹16.47 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000. The sale price being lower than the original purchase price highlights the volatile nature of Mumbai's luxury real estate market, where prices can fluctuate significantly based on demand and investment choices.
Zinta's decision to sell her apartment is part of a growing trend among Bollywood celebrities who are increasingly active in the luxury real estate market of Mumbai. Similarly, Amitabh Bachchan made headlines earlier this year by selling two adjacent luxury apartments in Goregaon for ₹12 crore. He had originally invested ₹8.12 crore in these units in 2012, achieving a nearly 47% return on his investment over 13 years. Additionally, Bachchan sold his duplex apartment in Andheri for ₹83 crore in January 2025. This 5,185 sq ft property, located in the prestigious building The Atlantis, was sold to a single buyer.
