The Purandar International Airport project is a proposed airport in Purandar taluka, Pune district, aimed at boosting regional economic growth through aviation services, logistics, and real estate development.
Farmers who voluntarily surrender their land will receive 10% of their land back as developed plots within the Aerosity, along with four times the prevailing market rate in cash.
The acquisition process will be conducted under the 2019 MIDC Act, allowing for both monetary and land-based compensation. Only farmers who provide written consent will be eligible for the dual-benefit package.
Farmers can submit their consent forms at the District Collector’s Office or the Sub-Divisional Office in Saswad. The administration plans to start collecting consent letters next week.
The Aerosity is projected to become a major economic engine, driving growth in aviation-linked services, logistics, real estate, and employment in the surrounding region, beyond just resettlement.
