According to Senior Police Inspector Santosh Pandhare, the incident occurred around 10 30 PM on Saturday when Kulkarni was out for a walk near his residence. Four individuals, including three minors, who were under the influence of alcohol, approached him and demanded access to his mobile hotspot.

When Kulkarni declined, citing unfamiliarity, they attacked him with a billhook, resulting in fatal injuries. The police have arrested Mayur Bhosale, 20, alongside his three minor accomplices. Authorities have charged the suspects under sections of murder and are working diligently to uncover additional details surrounding the heinous act.
