The Participatory Budget 2026–27 is an initiative by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) where 10% of the property tax collected from each zone is allocated for citizen-prioritised projects. Citizens can submit their proposals for various developmental works in their areas.
More than 2,700 proposals have been received from citizens across all eight zones, surpassing last year’s total of 2,279 responses with two days left before the deadline of September 15, 2025.
Citizens can propose a wide range of projects, including road upgrades, footpath construction, park development, drainage improvements, and civic amenities.
Citizens can submit their proposals online via https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/D8TBZRH or at their respective ward offices. The submission window will remain open until September 15, 2025.
PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh is encouraging more citizens to participate in the process and submit their proposals. He has emphasized the growing trust residents have in the process and their desire to be active partners in shaping Pimpri Chinchwad’s development.
