Pune, 30th June 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has extended the deadline for availing the 5% or 10% discount on property tax payments to July 7, 2025, to encourage timely payments.

Real Estate Pune:Pune, 30th June 2025: In a move to encourage more citizens to pay their property tax on time, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has extended the deadline for availing the 5% or 10% discount on full property tax payments for the financial year 2025-26. Property owners now have until July 7, 2025, to take advantage of this offer.

According to PMC, from April 1 to June 30, 2025, a total of 7,10,553 property owners have already paid their taxes, contributing a remarkable ₹1,244.50 crore to the civic body’s revenue.

“The original deadline for the tax discount was June 30, but keeping citizens’ convenience in mind, we are extending it till July 7,” said Avinash Sakpal, Deputy Commissioner, Taxation and Tax Collection Department, PMC. “We urge all property owners to pay their taxes immediately through civic amenities centers or the official online portal without waiting for the last day,” he added.

To facilitate timely payments, all PMC civic amenities centers will remain open between 10 am and 4 pm daily until the deadline.

The PMC has appealed to citizens to take advantage of the extended deadline and avoid last-minute rushes.
