Pune Porsche Accident: Father and Grandfather of Teenager to Remain in Police Custody
Real Estate Pune:The Pune district court has ordered that the father and grandfather of the teenager involved in the Porsche accident case will remain in police custody until May 31. The two were arrested for allegedly attempting to cover up the incident by bribing their family driver to take responsibility for the accident.

The grandfather was initially placed in police custody until May 28, but the court has extended the custody period. The teenager's father, Vishal Agarwal, a real estate developer, and his grandfather have been charged under IPC sections 368 (illegally concealing information) and 365 (kidnapping with purpose to covertly and wrongfully imprison a person).

Meanwhile, three doctors from Sassoon Hospital, including the head of the Forensic Medicine department, have been arrested for manipulating blood samples to show that the teenager was not drunk at the time of the accident. The doctors allegedly threw away the original blood samples and replaced them with samples that showed no traces of alcohol.

The Pune Police alleged that the teenager's father had offered the doctors allurements to manipulate the blood samples. The manipulation came to light when the police sent the blood samples to another hospital, which showed traces of alcohol.

The incident occurred on May 19, when a speeding Porsche, allegedly driven by the teenager, struck and killed two IT workers in the Kalyani Nagar neighborhood of Pune city. The teenager was granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board but was later placed in an observation home until June 5 after an investigation by the police.

The Porsche accident case has sparked outrage in Pune, with many calling for stricter punishments for minors involved in such incidents.

Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar has been leading the investigation into the Porsche accident case.

Sassoon Hospital is a government hospital in Pune city that provides medical services to the public.
