Pune Porsche Accident: Two Doctors Arrested for Fudging Minor Driver's Blood Report
Real Estate Pune:In a shocking turn of events, two doctors from Pune's Sasoon General Hospital were arrested on Monday for tampering with the blood test report of a 17-year-old boy who was involved in a fatal accident while driving his father's Porsche.

The doctors, identified as Dr. Ajay Tawade, the head of the forensic lab, and Dr. Hari Harnor, allegedly switched the boy's blood sample with another, thereby manipulating the report to conceal the fact that the boy was heavily drunk at the time of the accident. According to Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, the boy's blood alcohol level was significantly high, indicating that he was under the influence of alcohol when the accident occurred.

The police investigation revealed that Dr. Tawade and the boy's father, Vishal Agarwal, a real estate developer, had spoken over the phone soon after the accident. Agarwal, who is also in police custody, allegedly threatened the family driver to take blame for the accident and offered him money.

The police arrested the boy's grandfather on Saturday for wrongful confinement of the family driver. Both the boy's father and grandfather have been booked under IPC sections 365 (kidnapping with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine a person) and 368 (wrongfully concealing or keeping in confinement).

Vishal Agarwal, the boy's father, was also charged under the Juvenile Justice Act for `exposing a child to danger' by handing over the car to him despite having no driving licence. The minor boy was initially granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board, but was later sent to an observation home till June 5 amid outrage over the lenient treatment and a review application by the police.

The accident, which occurred on May 29, claimed the lives of two young techies who were riding a bike when the Porsche, driven by the 17-year-old boy, hit them.

Sasoon General Hospital is a leading government hospital in Pune, Maharashtra, known for its quality healthcare services. The hospital has a reputation for providing excellent medical care to patients from all walks of life.
