A shocking incident from Pune's Indapur taluka has come to light where a man, along with his friend, brutally killed his maternal uncle over suspicion of flirting with his wife. The police have cracked the case using the evidence of pyre wood purchase.

The motive behind the murder was the suspect's suspicion that his maternal uncle was looking at his wife lustfully and trying to flirt with her. This led to a revenge plan which resulted in the murder.
The incident took place on November 16 near Tawashi village in Pune district's Indapur taluka.
The accused in this case are Dadasaheb Maruti Harihar (30) and Vishal Sadashiv Khilare (23), both residents of Gokhali village in Phaltan taluka in Satara district.
The police solved the case by tracing the purchase of pyre wood from Phaltan, which led to the arrest of the accused. The recovery of a gold chain from the suspect also helped in solving the case.
A case has been registered under sections 103(1), 69(2), 238, 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Walchandnagar Police Station.
