The incident occurred in Shiwali village after the pangolin wandered into a local household.

Nilesh Garade, the founder of the Wildlife Rescue Team in Maval, received an urgent call about the pangolin's presence. He promptly informed the Vadgaon Forest Department. Forester Daya Dome and forest guard Amir Sayyed, along with Wildlife Rescue Team president Anil Andre and members Jigar Solanki, Shatrughna Rasankar, Santosh Dahibhate, Rohit Pawar, Nilesh Thakar, Adesh Mutha, and Nikhil Sane, swiftly arrived at the scene. The local village sarpanch and villagers also provided their support.

Upon carefully examining the pangolin, team members Jigar Solanki and Anil Andre confirmed that the animal was in good health with no visible injuries.
