Pune Vision 2030 is a city-wide initiative aimed at creating a sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready Pune through coordinated action and collaboration among government, industry, and citizens.
The Pune Platform for Collaborative Response (PPCR) is a multi-stakeholder initiative led by Dr. Sudhir Mehta and co-led by Manoj Pochat. PPCR is committed to facilitating the development and implementation of Pune Vision 2030.
The event was attended by over 170 influential citizens, including government officials, industry leaders, and representatives from various sectors such as real estate, automotive, manufacturing, startups, IT, fintech, and NGOs.
The key urban issues discussed included sanitation, traffic congestion, civic compliance, affordable housing, and the need for enhanced public transport.
Pune’s strengths highlighted in the dialogue include its flourishing startup ecosystem, world-class academic institutions, vibrant civic participation, and potential to lead in high-growth sectors such as electric mobility, healthcare innovation, and digital governance.
