The SVAMITVA (Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improved Technology in Village Areas) scheme is a Central Government initiative launched in 2019 to enhance transparency in land ownership records using modern surveying technologies.

The digital property cards are expected to be uploaded by August or September 2025.
