Pune's Real Estate Empire: Minor's Father in Custody Over Cheating Case
A Pune court has allowed the police to take custody of the father of the minor accused in the Porsche crash case, in a cheating case registered against him at Kondhwa police station.

The case dates back to 2019 when the father-son duo allegedly promised Rs 1.5 crore to the complainant if he helped them settle a dispute over their land in Kondhwa. Although the complainant resolved the dispute and got them possession of the said land, the father-son duo allegedly refused to pay the remaining amount of Rs 1.32 crore.
The grandfather of the minor, also a prominent realtor, had earlier secured bail in this case. However, the 50-year-old father will be taken into custody after his custody in another case with the Hinjewadi police ends.
In another case, a court in Pune granted bail to the father and grandfather, who were charged with the abduction of the driver who was accompanying the minor at the time of the accident, and forcing him to take the blame for the crash. The father and grandfather had been in Yerawada Central prison under judicial custody.
A total of six FIRs have been filed against the father since the May 19 crash, including three related to the accident. The father has now been granted bail in two of these cases, with the third being the one in which he stands accused along with the minor's mother for swapping blood samples of the minor. The three other cases are registered at Hinjewadi, Kondhwa, and Chandan Nagar police stations.
