Punjab Governor Unveils World's First AI-Enabled Property Booking App MrProptek
Real Estate News:Chandigarh, May 27, 2025: The real estate technology space is set to witness a paradigm shift with the unveiling of MrProptek, the world’s first AI-enabled property booking platform. The app was launched by UT Administrator and Punjab Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria on Tuesday.

The app was created by a 23-year-old tech prodigy, Aagman Bhatia, who is an AI and ML postgraduate from Plaksha University. Governor Kataria emphasized that MrProptek aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for Digital India, Skill India, and Startup India. He stated, “It is a matter of pride for Chandigarh and Punjab that the world's first such app has been designed, developed, and launched by a young and dynamic entrepreneur.”

The Governor highlighted, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, our startup ecosystem has become one of the largest and most vibrant in the world. I appreciate the efforts of the young entrepreneur to become a job provider through the app. This is something which we should focus on to realize PM Modi’s dream of making India a developed nation by 2047.”

During the post-event media interaction, Aagman Bhatia shared that MrProptek is poised to redefine the real estate business not just in India but globally. “Through this app, we will solve the real estate industry’s biggest problem — 'a prolonged period of time taken in deal closures'. What used to take months now will take hours. That is the future,” he said.

MrProptek allows users to explore, compare, and book properties globally from the comfort of their phone or laptop. The platform features 4K virtual walkthroughs, instant booking capabilities, transparent digital documentation, AI-based property recommendations, and a builder dashboard that can sell out inventory within hours. Aagman added, “Just like what BookMyShow does with movie tickets, making the process fully digital, lightning-fast, and deeply intelligent, MrProptek will redefine how real estate should be bought, sold, and experienced.”

Aagman further explained that the deep-tech at the core of MrProptek is ‘Oora’ and ‘Aug’ developed by him. “MrProptek is powered by two proprietary in-house systems. While ‘Oora’ is an intelligent AI assistant that helps customers and business owners with real-time answers, location insights, and personalized suggestions, ‘Aug’ is a cutting-edge virtual tech module that offers dollhouse views, furniture de-furnishing, room measurements, and immersive virtual walkthroughs. Together they create a seamless, transparent, and futuristic property experience.”

Aagman carries forward a powerful legacy. He is the son of KS Bhatia, a pioneer of the Indian startup ecosystem, known for founding Pumpkart — the first online pump store, recognized personally by Google CEO Sundar Pichai during the 2015 Digital India Summit in Silicon Valley, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now, Aagman is reviving the startup spirit of Chandigarh and Punjab by taking real estate global, one tap at a time.

KS Bhatia, Co-founder and CEO of MrProptek, told media persons, “Exciting times are in store for the region's startup ecosystem with the launch of the app. I am sure many youngsters from Chandigarh will now get motivated to unveil new startup ideas.”

Talking further about MrProptek, Aagman said, “Backed by a unique blend of artificial intelligence, automation, and user-centric design, the app allows users to book a property from anywhere in the world in under 10 minutes, a feat never achieved before.”

MrProptek is India’s only platform that also caters to ultra-luxury buyers. From affordable flats to private islands, beach villas, and houseboats, the platform is a one-stop-shop for global real estate investments.

Discussing future expansion plans, Aagman mentioned that after the Chandigarh launch, MrProptek is going to expand in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Surat in the next two months. In August, they will launch in Dubai and aim to cover the entire Asia by 2028.

KS Bhatia added, “By June end, we will launch commercials which could be AI driven, and in the next six months, we will introduce cutting-edge technology of Blockchain, which is the future of real estate. By the end of 2026, we will build a ‘Rent and Leasing’ App as we feel that ‘Rent & Leasing’ is the future.”
