Rape Allegations Rock Hyderabad Real Estate Firm: Two Agents Arrested

Sanga Reddy and Janardhan, both working as real estate agents, were taken into custody by the Miyapur police of Cyberabad commissionerate on allegations of drugging their colleague and raping her in their car.

The victim, a 26-year-old woman, was allegedly given sedatives and sexually assaulted by the duo on Sunday night. According to the police, the accused took advantage of the woman's unconscious state and committed the heinous crime.

The incident came to light when the woman, who was found abandoned near a private hostel at Miyapur, filed a complaint with the Uppal police station. The case was later transferred to Miyapur police station due to jurisdictional issues.

As per the police report, the accused and the victim were supposed to visit a site in Yadadri on Sunday morning. They picked her up from a hostel at Miyapur and headed to the site. After completing their visit, they started their journey back to the city around 10 30 pm. On the pretext of a car breakdown, they stopped at an under-construction building, where they offered her food and drinks laced with sedatives.

After consuming the drinks, the woman started feeling dizzy and lost consciousness. The accused took advantage of her condition and committed the crime. They continued to harass her sexually until 3 am on Monday, after which they dropped her off at a hostel in Miyapur and fled the scene.
