Four real estate agents were stripped and given electric shocks after being mistaken for BMC informants. The incident occurred on October 19 in Bhardawadi Mansion on Derawala Road, Andheri West.
The suspects are Sattar Turak, 54, Aziz Turak, 50, and Farooq Turak, 53. They were arrested and remanded to two days of police custody.
The real estate agents were taking photos of an under-construction room when the suspects mistook them for BMC informants and detained them, leading to the brutal assault.
The case has been registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the IT Act. The suspects have been arrested and presented before a court.
The DN Nagar Police have been actively involved in investigating the incident, arresting the suspects, and ensuring the safety of the victims. They are committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice.
