The 16-year-old girl, identified as Priya (name changed to protect her identity), was kidnapped from Latur six months ago and was recently rescued in Pune.
The Pune Police received a tip-off from a local resident about a young girl being held captive in a house in the Kharadi area of Pune.
The Latur Police had been working tirelessly on the case and collaborated with the Pune Police to facilitate the rescue operation and ensure the safety of the victim.
The Pune Police are currently investigating the motives behind the kidnapping and are exploring connections to other similar cases. They are also urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
