The main goal of the project is to provide affordable housing options to long-time residents and low-income families in the Third Ward, helping to preserve the neighborhood’s cultural heritage and prevent displacement.
The project is a collaboration between Rice Real Estate Co. and Brinshore Development, two leading real estate development companies with a strong track record in community-centered projects.
The project will include the construction of 120 units, a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.
The development will feature community spaces such as a community center, playground, and green spaces to enhance the quality of life for residents and promote social interaction.
Construction is expected to begin in early 2024, with the first units scheduled to be available for occupancy by the end of the year.
