Sattva Group Expands into Mumbai Real Estate with 8 Million Sq Ft Projects
Sattva Group, a prominent property developer based in Bengaluru, has announced its strategic entry into the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) with six ambitious residential and commercial redevelopment projects. These projects, spanning over 8 million square feet of construction area, mark a significant milestone in the company's growth and expansion strategy.
Recently, another Bengaluru-based developer, Embassy Group, has also ventured into the Mumbai real estate market. Other notable players like Prestige and Puravankara already have a presence in the city, further intensifying competition and innovation in the sector.
Sattva’s new projects are strategically located in key areas of Mumbai, including Parel (Sewri), Prabhadevi, Goregaon East, Vile Parle West, Powai, and the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) vicinity. With these six projects, Sattva Group aims to deliver more than 2500 rehabilitation homes and over 2000 newly constructed residences. The construction across the portfolio is scheduled to begin in 2026 and will continue in phases until 2032, with the first project expected to be completed by 2028.
The total gross development value (GDV) of these projects is estimated at nearly ₹11,000 crore, underscoring the significant investment and commitment Sattva Group is making to the Mumbai real estate market. This move is not only a testament to the company's strong financial position but also its ability to handle large, technically complex projects with precision and consistency.
