Shraddha Kapoor Extends Juhu Apartment Lease, Pays Rs 6 Lakh Monthly
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has extended her lease for a premium apartment in Mumbai’s Juhu locality, agreeing to pay a starting monthly rent of Rs 6 lakh, according to property registration documents. The renewal agreement was officially registered in February 2026.
The apartment is located in Prime Beach, Juhu, and spans 365 sq. m. (3,929 sq. ft.), with four dedicated car parking spaces. According to the property documents available on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Maharashtra, reviewed by Square Yards, the same unit had earlier been leased by Kapoor under an agreement registered in October 2024. The latest contract carries a stamp duty payment of Rs 36,000 and registration charges of Rs 1,000.
According to Square Yards’ analysis of the registration filings, the lease tenure is 12 months, with the rental value aggregating to Rs 72 lakh over the full term based on the starting monthly rent. Juhu remains one of Mumbai’s most premium residential micro-markets, characterized by luxury apartments, sea-facing properties, and gated developments that attract high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, and long-term investors.
The area benefits from connectivity through the Western Express Highway and JVPD road network, while also offering proximity to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and commercial hubs such as Bandra Kurla Complex, Andheri, and Santacruz. Over the years, the locality has housed several prominent film personalities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, and Hrithik Roshan.
Kapoor, who debuted with 'Teen Patti' (2010) and rose to prominence with 'Aashiqui 2' (2013), has since built a diverse filmography spanning commercial hits such as 'Ek Villain', 'Haider', 'ABCD 2', 'Baaghi', 'Stree', 'Saaho', 'Chhichhore', 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar', and 'Stree 2'. Beyond acting, she has also contributed as a playback singer and remains active in brand endorsements and social initiatives.
The decision to renew the lease in Juhu reflects Kapoor’s continued preference for the area, known for its luxurious living standards and prime location. This move also underscores the ongoing appeal of Juhu as a coveted residential destination for Bollywood stars and affluent individuals.
