Gurugram-based Signature Global is one of the leading real estate developers in the country. The company achieved the fifth-largest pre-sales in the last fiscal year, selling properties worth Rs 10,290 crore. This growth underscores their strong market position and strategic vision.

“We have recently purchased a total of 33.47 acres of land in Sohna, Gurugram,” Signature Global Chairman Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal revealed in an interview with PTI on the sidelines of NAREDCO’s convention. The cost of these acquisitions stands at around Rs 450 crore. The land parcels were acquired through three separate sale deeds, with a total development potential of around 18 lakh square feet.

Aggarwal emphasized that the company is always on the lookout for land parcels to expand its business. “In Delhi-NCR, we are evaluating multiple deals in Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, and Delhi,” he stated. The company’s land bank strategy involves acquiring land equivalent to the total projects launched in each fiscal year, ensuring a steady pipeline of development opportunities.

Signature Global has been proactive in land acquisitions. Last fiscal year, the company invested Rs 1,070 crore to purchase 48 acres of land in Gurugram, Haryana. Looking ahead, the company plans to invest between Rs 1,200 crore and Rs 1,500 crore during the 2025-26 period to acquire additional land parcels.

In terms of project launches, Aggarwal noted that the company has already launched projects worth Rs 4,000 crore in the first quarter of FY26. Another Rs 13,000 crore worth of projects are expected to hit the market by March next year. “In the second quarter, we have not launched any new projects so far, but we have inventories in our existing projects for sales,” he added.

Aggarwal remains confident of achieving the company’s pre-sales guidance of Rs 12,500 crore for the current fiscal year. He commented on the market scenario in Gurugram, noting that the demand for luxury homes priced above Rs 5 crore per unit is steady, although the supply in the Rs 2-5 crore price bracket is limited. Despite the slowdown, there has been no price correction in the market, and the pace of rate increases is expected to moderate.

“The frenzy seen in the last few years, with entire projects getting sold in a few hours or days, is not as prevalent now,” Aggarwal observed. The company reported a fivefold surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 34.43 crore during the April-June period of 2025-26, up from Rs 6.79 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to Rs 898.35 crore, from Rs 427.98 crore during the same period.

However, sales bookings saw a 15 percent decline to Rs 2,640 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal year, down from Rs 3,120 crore in the previous year. Since its inception, Signature Global has delivered nearly 15 million square feet of real estate projects, showcasing its commitment to quality and innovation in the industry.
