Suhana Khan's Alibaug Real Estate Deal Faces Legal Scrutiny
Real Estate:Mumbai, Sep 2 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan has found herself in the midst of a legal controversy surrounding a real estate deal. It has come to light that the actress purchased land allotted to farmers by the government without obtaining the necessary permissions and paperwork. The land is located in Thal village, and was originally provided to the farmers for agricultural purposes.

The piece of land reportedly cost INR 12.91 crores, which Suhana paid to the Khote family, residents of the upmarket Cuffe Parade area in Mumbai. She paid a stamp duty of INR 77.46 lakh at the time of the purchase. The land transfer took place on May 30, 2023, through the Standard Chartered Bank.

The matter is currently under investigation, and an impartial report has been requested from the Alibaug tehsildar. The order for this investigation was issued by the Resident Deputy Commissioner of Police. This legal scrutiny has raised concerns about the legitimacy of the real estate transaction and the adherence to local regulations.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Suhana is preparing for her upcoming film ‘King’, which also stars her father, Shah Rukh Khan. This marks her second film after the critically panned streaming series ‘The Archies’. Despite the setback with her debut, Suhana remains focused on her acting career and is determined to make a strong comeback with ‘King’.

Earlier, her father, SRK, faced a minor injury while filming ‘King’. He sustained the injury during an action sequence and had to leave the set to seek medical attention. He was rushed to the hospital for a medical procedure and made a quick recovery. A few days later, SRK appeared in public, posting a video on Instagram where he was seen wearing a sling. In the video, he expressed his gratitude for receiving his first National Award in his 33-year career, further highlighting his continued success and dedication to the film industry.

The legal issues surrounding Suhana's real estate deal and the ongoing production of ‘King’ have put the Khan family in the spotlight. While the legal investigation continues, fans and industry insiders are eagerly awaiting updates on both fronts.
