The main focus of the partnership is to develop a 105-acre integrated township in North Hinjewadi, Pune, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, air quality management, and enhanced livability.
TERI will guide the planning and execution of key environmental measures, focusing on maintaining optimal Air Quality Index (AQI) levels and achieving a high livability index. The project also targets IGBC Green Township Platinum certification.
The township will feature outdoor air quality monitoring, micro-climatic planning, EV charging infrastructure, biophilic landscaping, dust suppression during construction, and water- and energy-efficient systems.
IGBC Green Township Platinum certification is a prestigious recognition that signifies the township's commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, making it one of India’s most progressive residential ecosystems.
The project aims to reduce the carbon footprint, enhance health outcomes, and offer long-term cost savings to residents through sustainable practices and efficient systems.
