A total of 2,28,102 modaks were ordered on Swiggy during Ganesh Utsav 2025.
Mumbai and Pune had the highest modak orders, followed by Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata.
Nationally, Mawa Modak was the most popular, with 8742 orders.
Swiggy witnessed over a 35% increase in modak orders compared to last year’s Ganesh Chaturthi.
In Maharashtra, Ukadiche Modak, Mawa Modak, and Malai Modak are some of the traditional varieties that were popular.
