Santlal, who also worked as a caretaker of the property, was found lying motionless near the cremation ground after being shot in the chest.

Police have arrested 19-year-old Piyush Yadav, a local real estate agent, for allegedly committing the crime. The incident took place around 2 am near the Shamshan Ghat in Dera village. A police team was dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of women crying loudly in the neighborhood.

Upon arrival, the police discovered a man lying motionless near the cremation ground. An empty cartridge was found at the location, which provided crucial evidence. During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused had a heated argument with the victim over the closing of a gate at the property.

When questioned, Piyush confessed to the crime and led the police to the gun he had hidden in his house.
