Telangana CM Launches CREDAI Property Show, Pledges Transparent Development
Real Estate:Hyderabad, Aug 15 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated the CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show at Hitex, Madhapur, assuring the real estate and infrastructure sectors of transparent policies, priority for local investors, and a long-term vision for the state’s growth.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said his government was moving forward with development plans by “overcoming misconceptions and suspicions” created by political differences. He congratulated CREDAI for organizing the event, saying it would “open the eyes of those who want to hinder development by creating misconceptions.”

Revanth Reddy likened government policy and construction to “growth engines” for the state’s progress, emphasizing that policies must remain free from paralysis, regardless of changes in political leadership. “We invite investments with transparent policies. It is not only our responsibility to protect investments but also to encourage them to make profits,” he said, warning against giving credence to politically motivated misinformation.

The Chief Minister assured local investors that they were his government’s first priority and underscored his personal commitment to public welfare. “I am not someone who has a broad vision of looting and moving abroad. I will cooperate with development in a transparent manner that benefits the people,” he asserted.

Highlighting infrastructure challenges, Revanth Reddy pointed out that metro rail expansion in Hyderabad had stalled for the past decade, exacerbating traffic congestion. He announced efforts to extend the metro to Shamirpet and Medchal, improve last-mile connectivity, and develop multi-modal transport in densely populated areas.

He also revealed plans for 11 new radial roads linking the Regional Ring Road to the outer ring road, a dry port along the Hyderabad–Amaravati Greenfield Highway, and a structured development model dividing Telangana into core urban, semi-urban, and rural zones.

On securing central approvals, he defended his frequent visits to Delhi. “If the central government is in Delhi, where else would we go? Metro, Musi, airports, and regional ring road projects require their permissions. I go there to get them for the state, not for personal use,” he said, adding that he was pressing the Centre for restructuring Rs 2 lakh crore worth of loans.

Touching on heritage and legacy, the Chief Minister acknowledged contributions of past leaders such as Quli Qutub Shah, Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, and N. Chandrababu Naidu, stating that while wealth can be taken away, “no one can take away what they gave to society.” Revanth Reddy pledged to make Hyderabad a city that would be remembered for centuries, urging collective effort in building a progressive Telangana. “Land is a sentiment. Real estate growth depends on how positively you carry that sentiment forward,” he said.
