Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Accused of Acting Like a Real Estate Broker
Real Estate News:In a scathing attack, Harish Rao, former Minister and Siddipet MLA, criticized Congress Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his alleged involvement in real estate dealings. Addressing a gathering of farmers protesting against the establishment of a Pharma city at Nyalkal under Zaheerabad constituency, Harish Rao questioned Revanth Reddy's priorities, asking if he was the Chief Minister or a real estate broker.

Harish Rao claimed that Revanth Reddy's rule had become a burden on the people, particularly farmers. He alleged that the Chief Minister was trying to cancel the Pharma city project, which had already received all necessary clearances, including environmental and forest clearances, for 15,000 acres of land near Hyderabad. Instead, Revanth Reddy was planning to set up a Pharma city in 34,000 acres of land and use the remaining land for his real estate business, Harish Rao alleged.

The former Minister also criticized the Musi Beautification project, which he claimed was being used as a pretext to demolish the houses of the poor. He wondered whether Revanth Reddy's rule was akin to Indiramma's rule, referencing the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's Garibi Hatao slogan. Harish Rao claimed that Revanth Reddy's rule was characterized by the slogans 'Kisan Hatao' and 'Gariboko Hatao', which he believed were contrary to the interests of farmers and the poor. According to Harish Rao, the local people had not been eating food for two months due to the decision of the state government to establish the Pharma city. He accused Revanth Reddy of being more interested in his real estate business than in serving the people of the state.
