The murder took place in Kamepally village, under the limits of Kamepally police station in Khammam district, Telangana.
The prime suspect, who was in financial difficulties and wanted to travel to Oman, killed the real-estate broker to steal gold and money to fund his trip.
Three suspects, including the prime accused and two accomplices, were arrested by the police.
The police recovered a stolen gold chain, two knives used in the crime, and the body parts of the victim.
The arrested suspects have been remanded to judicial custody, and the case is under further investigation.
