The Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal began its operations following the issuance of GO No. 503 by the state government.
The tribunal is located at Krishna Hostel at the Dr MCRHRD Institute in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

The tribunal is chaired by Justice A. Rajasekhar Reddy, a former judge of the Telangana High Court.
