The Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal officially began its operations on Wednesday, following the issuance of Government Order No. 503 by the state government.
The tribunal is located at Krishna Hostel, within the Dr. MCRHRD Institute in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
The tribunal is chaired by Justice A. Rajasekhar Reddy, a former judge of the Telangana High Court.
The primary role of the tribunal is to hear and resolve appeals related to judgments of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), aiming to streamline real estate dispute resolution in Telangana.
Government Order No. 117 has sanctioned 33 permanent posts for the tribunal, covering various categories to enhance its operational capabilities.
