The fine was imposed because the realtors were found to be in violation of the RERA Act 2016, specifically for misrepresenting themselves as licensed and authorised agents and engaging in fraudulent activities such as forging signatures and receipts.
The complainant in this case is Anji Reddy, the managing director of Viana Homes Pvt Ltd, Gachibowli. Viana Homes is the developer of the Poojitha Tech Park project in Kokapet village.
The amount of the fine imposed on the four realtors is Rs 3.69 lakh.
