The main issue addressed by TG RERA is the real estate firm's failure to adhere to the sanctioned plans, specifically regarding the allocation and control of common areas in MCOR apartments.
The complaint from the MCOR apartment members was that the real estate firm provided less parking space than promised and carved out additional parking slots, which were sold to other residents, causing inconvenience to the original allottees.
If the real estate firm does not adhere to the sanctioned plans, they will face penal consequences as per the RERA Act 2016.
The orders were issued by TG RERA chairman N Satyanarayana and RERA members K Srinivasa Rao and Laxminarayana Jannu.
The role of TG RERA is to regulate the real estate sector, promote transparency, and protect the rights of homebuyers and apartment residents by ensuring that real estate firms adhere to approved plans and regulations.
