The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TG RERA) is a regulatory body established under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, to promote transparency, accountability, and consumer protection in the real estate sector.
TGRERA ordered Prathima Infra to register Pristine Estates because the project was not registered under the RERA Act, and the builders failed to provide occupancy certificates to the villa owners, leading to complaints about non-provision of amenities and misuse of funds.
If the builders do not comply with the TGRERA orders, they will face penalties and legal action as per the provisions of the RERA Act.
The villa owners of Pristine Estates were promised a clubhouse, a children’s play area, a swimming pool, and an outside play area, among other state-of-the-art facilities.
The corpus fund is a financial reserve collected from villa owners to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the community facilities and common areas in the villa project.
